Supportive Independent Living
APARTMENTS
The apartment building includes one and two-bedroom units for adults with autism and/or similar intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who are able to live independently with supports. Onsite staff along with a variety of amenities including an exercise room, multipurpose rooms, respite unit, and outdoor gathering spaces will be provided. Residents will be able to choose Supportive Home Care providers for additional services needed.
Cutting through the lobby, double height space, and courtyard, a glimpse of the overall feel is given. Warm wood accents from the exterior continue on the interior and large panes of glass connect the lobby space to the outdoor courtyard filled with full grown trees, native plantings, and seating.
The level one floor plan above shows the two-bedroom units in blue, the multipurpose room in purple, the management offices in orange, and the large courtyard the L-shaped form provides. The first and second floors are primarily one bedroom units totaling 26, with 6 two bedroom units on the corners.
Unit Floorplans
The interior finishes are modern, but also colorful and warm. Walls and permanent furniture like kitchen cabinets are plain and neutral to allow residents to bring in their own pops of color.
