The CENTRE
A Centre for residents and others in the greater community with complex needs designed to provide opportunities that can enhance their quality of life in a natural setting. The Centre provides opportunities to practice daily and functional life skills, health and wellness, and vocational skills. Individuals can also participate in recreational activities and social interactions.

The indoor track receives natural light from three sides – clerestories above the garage, interior windows surrounding the indoor jungle gym, and a wall of windows facing the CARE homes courtyard. Pops of color bring character to the space, while the warm wood ceiling balances the industrial look of exposed steel trusses.
The block of therapy rooms includes a central observation area flooded with light, providing individual rooms access to indirect natural light. The viewing area is wide enough to accommodate seating, viewing and circulation. Rooms are spacious for a therapist and another adult to explore various activities.
