Carol

Egbert

Consultant

Carol is a self-taught web developer with a love for creating websites that truly reflect the heart of an organization. Experienced in WordPress/Elementor and Wix, she volunteers her time through Catchafire to help nonprofits transform their online presence. Before staying home to raise her children, she worked as a programmer at Allstate and CNA, coding in Assembler and COBOL. That technical background gave her a strong foundation in problem-solving — something she still draw on in every project today. Carol has been married for over 40 years. She and her husband have seven adult children, including two with special needs — one with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and the other with Down syndrome. Carol feels that they have taught her patience, compassion, and the power of perseverance. According to Carol, “I believe every website, like every person, has a story worth telling — and I’m passionate about helping organizations share theirs with clarity, warmth, and purpose.”
