Supportive Housing Hub
The Supportive Housing Hub provides a continuum of services and supports for the residents, their parents, siblings and extended family, caregivers, and the greater community.
The life skills suite, features a large, central waiting area for residents between sessions that visually connects to the teaching kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, laundry room and relax & ready rooms.
The Life Skills Suite in pink, features a large central collaboration area that connects to a teaching kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. The suite also offers relax and ready rooms for individuals who may need a break from the larger support areas The care-giver training suite, in green, features a staff lounge, an office, a private meeting room, and a central meeting space. The family support center, in yellow, features a central library and resource center, a meeting room, and remote access desks. Near the main entry is the Care at Crocus office, in grey, which has two offices, a conference room, and an open meeting space. The partner organizations wing features 6 large offices, 2 private meeting rooms, and a central meeting space that could be rented out together or ideally, separately by multiple different organizations.
The axonometric provides a top-down view of how all the programs are organized and their adjacencies to one another. Interior windows allow light and views into spaces with a lot of activity.
The front entrance is marked by a large overhang and an angled, feature glass wall. A warm, cream and brown color scheme is used throughout while large windows open up each room and day light the interior.
The court yard, primarily green, features full grown trees to shade some seating, grass, native plants, and a large patio space right outside the multipurpose room for larger events.
